This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how Greenlit Studios ("Greenlit," "we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, shares, and otherwise processes information when you use Callzy AI (the "App"), a mobile application that lets you have voice conversations with AI characters, create your own AI characters, and—on paid plans—have an AI character place outbound phone calls on your behalf.
This Policy applies to the Callzy AI application distributed through the Apple App Store and any related services that reference this Policy (collectively, the "Services"). By downloading or using Callzy AI, you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
1. Who We Are
Greenlit Studios is the developer and publisher of Callzy AI. Callzy AI is an independent entertainment product. The AI characters in the App are fictional, AI-generated impressions for entertainment and commentary; they are not the real individuals they may evoke and are not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any public figure, brand, studio, or rights holder. All third-party names and marks belong to their respective owners.
2. Accounts and Your User ID
Callzy AI does not require you to create a traditional account. When you first open the App, a random, pseudonymous User ID is generated and stored on your device and used to deliver your characters, calls, and credits. You may optionally add an email and password to secure access. The User ID does not by itself identify you personally.
We also derive a hashed, non-reversible device signal used solely to prevent abuse of free credits (for example, repeatedly reinstalling to re-claim a free allotment). It is not used to track you across other apps or for advertising.
3. Information We Collect
A. Information you provide
- Voice and call content. Microphone audio and the speech/words exchanged during calls, and the resulting call recordings and transcripts, so you can review them in the App.
- Character content (user-generated content). The names, descriptions, instructions, and images you provide to create custom characters.
- Outbound call details. If you use outbound calling, the destination phone number you enter and call metadata (time, duration, outcome).
- Purchase information. Subscriptions and credit purchases are processed by Apple In-App Purchase and managed via RevenueCat. We receive a confirmation and transaction identifier tied to your User ID; we do not receive your full payment-card details.
- Support and feedback. If you email us or submit a report, we receive the content and any address you used.
B. Information collected automatically
- User ID and the hashed anti-abuse device signal described above.
- Device and app information — device model, OS and version, app version, language, time zone, and similar technical attributes.
- Usage and diagnostic data — features used, session activity, crashes, and error logs.
- Approximate location — a coarse, country-level location may be inferred from your IP address for routing, analytics, and compliance. Callzy AI does not request precise (GPS) location.
4. Third-Party AI and Service Providers (Important)
Callzy AI cannot function without sending certain inputs to third-party providers who run the underlying AI models and telephony. When you use the App, the relevant content is shared with:
- Google LLC (Gemini API) — real-time voice/AI for in-app calls; receives your audio/conversation and character prompts.
- Vapi — orchestrates premium/outbound voice calls; receives call audio, prompts, and metadata.
- ElevenLabs — voice synthesis and, for premium characters, voice modeling; receives text and/or audio.
- Telephony carriers (e.g., SignalWire and connected networks) — required to place outbound calls to real phone numbers.
- Supabase — our backend, database, authentication, and media storage.
- RevenueCat & Apple — purchase processing and subscription management.
- Analytics, crash-reporting, and anti-abuse providers — the diagnostic signals described above.
Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy policy. We share only what is needed to provide the Services and do not authorize providers to use your content to build their own unrelated products except as permitted by their terms. We encourage you not to submit sensitive personal information in prompts or calls.
5. How We Use Information
- To provide, operate, and improve the App and its AI calling features;
- To generate, store, and let you replay recordings and transcripts;
- To process purchases, manage credits and subscriptions, and prevent abuse and fraud;
- To provide support and respond to reports of objectionable content;
- To comply with law and enforce our Terms of Use.
6. Outbound Calls and Recording
Outbound calling lets an AI character call a real phone number you choose. Calls may be recorded. You are solely responsible for ensuring you have any consent required to place and record a given call and that doing so is lawful where you and the recipient are located. The AI identifies itself as an AI. Do not use outbound calling for unsolicited, deceptive, harassing, or unlawful calls. See our Terms of Use.
7. Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell your personal information. We share information only: with the service providers above; to comply with law, legal process, or lawful requests; to protect the rights, safety, and property of Greenlit, our users, or the public; and in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to this Policy.
8. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain information for as long as needed to provide the Services and for legitimate legal, security, and business purposes. You can delete your in-app content (custom characters, images, and call history) at any time from Settings → Delete all data. Some records (e.g., transaction and abuse-prevention records) may be retained as required by law or to prevent abuse. You may also contact us to request deletion.
9. Children
Callzy AI is intended for users 13 and older and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided us information, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.
10. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
11. Your Rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete, or restrict the processing of your personal information, and to object or withdraw consent. Contact us to exercise these rights; we will respond as required by applicable law.
12. International Users
We and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries whose data-protection laws may differ from yours. By using the App you consent to such processing.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by updating the "Last Updated" date above and, where appropriate, by additional notice in the App.
